Parent Volunteers
I will be keeping game records this year in order to better document both our team and our opponents and track team and individual statistics. As I tend to have my hands full during games, I am looking for parent spectators who are willing to assist me in this effort by filling out game records (goals, assists, penalties, cards, opponent notes, etc.). After games, I can check these records against my own in order to ensure accuracy. If this interests you, please post your name as a comment here (below this paragraph). I will provide your daughter with several copies of game record sheets for you to complete at your convenience.
Seniors: College Soccer
One of my goals for this year is to facilitate correspondence between players who wish to play college soccer and the schools that they are interested in. If you are a senior and aspire to attend and play soccer in college, please supply me with a list of the schools you are interested in, photocopies of your general application materials, and athletic administrator and/or coach contact information whenever possible. Senior year is both exciting and stressful, so try to stay organized and plan ahead.

Norton 5; Abington 0
Nice scrimmage, girls. Our new formation appears to be working well. The defense looked solid; our passing game has improved considerably and four different Lancers netted goals today (2 from freshman Meagan Elliott, who had an outstanding debut). You should all feel good about your level of play, but remember: our league play will be far more challenging. Rest up and prepare for practice on Monday, during which we will fine-tune our lineup and tactics in preparation for the home opener against Ashland.
The junior varsity squad won their game 6-1. This is especially impressive considering the team had no substitutes and 3 goalies. Great work, girls.
